FAQ
Is the cable flexible?
No. It is a rigid installation cable with solid copper conductors for fixed installation.
As an extension lead or through a window?
No, it is not designed for that.
Underground?
No, not for direct burial.
Why flat cable instead of round NYM-J?
Because the chase is only about half as wide: less cutting, less debris, faster plastering.
3×1.5 or 3×2.5 mm²?
3×1.5 mm² for lighting and standard sockets, 3×2.5 mm² for washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and long runs.
How is the flat cable laid under plaster?
In the installation zones according to DIN 18015-3, in a narrow chase, fixed with plaster dabs. Connection by a qualified electrician.
How many metres do I need?
For a bedroom with four sockets, a switch and a ceiling light, about 37 m.
